This #StopRacism group will identify some of the ways in which racism manifests itself in our institutions and our communities and how this is reinforced, both economically and culturally.
You will meet other people who care about racism, and learn together a common language. You'll hear stories and history. You'll form a community of activists that can create change. And you'll learn how to mobilize other activists and become a leader in the conversation yourself.
The group will led by The Good Men Project’s Editor’s Lisa Duggan and Jackie Summers. The group will have weekly phone calls, and then stay in touch during the week by email and the groups own Facebook Group. The #StopRacism Social Interest Group will create content, interface with other groups working in the area, and forge a path to actual social change.
Our next group starts Tuesday January 10, 2016, at 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST. There will be four weekly phone calls every Tuesday.
To join this Social Interest Group, RSVP below. You must also join The Good Men Project as a Gold or Platinum Premium Member---and you'll get additional benefits for an entire year.
